Gil Whalen – 320 points up

Approach: Gil came to us ready to work. He knew that he needed to break 2100 to be competitive for the schools he was considering. His scores were already relatively high, so we knew we had work ahead of us.

Since we needed to get close to perfection in each section, we took a full approach: we reviewed SAT content for the verbal, math & writing sections, then drilled. Once he was ready, we had Gil complete five practice, simulated SAT exams, then reviewed each exam with him in detail. The results were encouraging: his scores got better and better on each practice test.

Result: 1800s to 2100s

Now attending: Dartmouth, and loving it.
